April 24th, 2008 UPDATE! We have a litter today! Vegas had a c-section with just two pups--one all white female, and one brindle male. Sadly, our little male puppy had a serious cleft pallette, and we decided to have him put to sleep right after birth. So, the litter is just one puppy now. Vegas is doing great but still trying to figure out why we insist that she lay in her welping box with this little white mole of a thing! Tiff and I have been doing the "every 4 hours feeding and eliminations" routine for the pup. Both mother and puppy are doing well.

Also, Vegas' sister Tootie will be having a litter of about 8 pups in a few weeks! (Fallbrook, CA). It is a repeat breeding with Ch. Kismet's Excitable Boy--with Ch. Evolution's Luck Be A Lady, AOM, so these will be full siblings to our Fergie! We will be talking with Joe and Jessica Croninger of Madhouse Mini Bulls about some of our fantastic applications that we have recieved for the Vegas litter. We wish Vegas would have had a larger litter for our list of great waiting applicants, but what can you do?.

This litter is the first with our little Am.Ch. Evolution's Pair-A-Dice aka Vegas. We have established a careful and health conscious breeding program that promotes handsome and healthy Mini Bull Terriers. Evolution MBT’s are known for their funny characters and carefully selected owners. We believe it is important for Minis to live with families and not in dog runs and kennels. Therefore, puppies, when available, are “in-home-nurtured” by their mothers and families.
Evolution extends its expertise for helping new owners learn to exhibit show quality bullies and in simply enjoying their bully baby, whether pet or show. Pet quality pups are also available, usually with an additional deposit, which is returned when the dog is spayed or neutered. We encourage puppy buyers to have their puppies tattooed or microchipped & take them to puppy socialization training, we offer a rebate to those who do both.
Evolution Mini Bull Terriers are bred only after passing testing to preclude genetic and other health problems. Puppies go home after a 10 weeks or second set of shots, with heart test auscultation result paperwork. If interested in getting on the waiting list for an Evolution MBT pup, please request and complete our puppy questionnaire. Pups are occasionally available to caring homes and the questionnaire is designed to help us get to know prospective buyers. We care deeply that relationships between pups and their new families, as well as between our kennel and the new families work well.
As Mini Bull Terriers are tough to find, many people, impatient for a pup, often unknowingly turn to puppy mills and poor quality, sometimes ignorant “backyard breeders”. Puppy mills almost always have pups available. Evolution MBT’s does not. Puppy mills do not offer proof of health testing. Evolution MBT’s and all reputable breeders do. Puppy mills may not offer AKC registration because AKC is cracking down on spurious puppy mill operations. All Evolution pups are AKC registered. Puppy mills will ship or sell to anyone who has the money. Evolution MBT’s puppies must be picked up in person. If you care that your puppy comes from healthy parents and quality pedigrees and are willing to be patient if pups are not currently available, please request and complete our questionnaire.
